Boots: Over-the-knee, Wedges and Aviators

I love boots. They're incredibly comfortable, they keep you warm and they look great with just about everything.

I think I currently have about 11 pairs of boots. I'll post some of my favourites up once I get a chance to get my camera out and snap a few photos, but for now, the boots above are those which I'm currently wishing for.

I LOVE the Chinese Laundry riding boots. I have absolutely adore boots that are over the knee. Not many people are brave enough to don over the knee boots. I personally don't understand why to be honest. They look fantastic paired up with jeans, leggings or if you're daring enough, mini skirts and dresses. People who are afraid of looking a little too Pretty Woman should opt for flat over the knee boots. Those who are a little more adventurous can do the high heels but make sure to tone down the rest of the outfit. Unless you're going for a certain look of course =)

Those black wedges are to die for. Wedges are incredibly comfortable because they provide more support, so they're a good option for those who are a little afraid to wear high heels as an everyday form of footwear. If you find that there is too much pressure being placed on the ball of your foot, get a ball cushion (i think that's what they're called). They're usually made of plastic and are heavily padded. They can adhere onto the ball of your shoe and they provide extra comfort for those who will be walking around all day. They're usually found in any shoe store. I know they sell them at Williams here in Australia.

Finally, the aviator boots. Again, the chunky heel is suitable for those who are high heel shy. The aviators are a new trend, a twist from the military trend (which is still raging strong I might add). I couldn't choose between the 2 colours; the lighter colour is perfect for those who want to stand out, while the black ones are still amazing but a little more safe; more wearable in the years to come.
